After the worker has arrived in the UAE, the guarantor submits an application to the General Directorate for Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs – Umm Al-Quwain to complete the procedures of obtaining a residency permit for the guaranteed person. It is required to affix the seal of residency on the passport within 30 days as of the date of the worker’s arrival. The residence permit is valid for two years as of the date of its issuance. The required documents:
- Visa application.
- A photocopy of the passport (the visitor and the companions). The passport should be valid for 6 months at least as of the date of submitting the application.
- A clear personal photo the size of the passport photo.
